BLU Jazz+ is a stunning live music venue & photography gallery in downtown Akron, Ohio which has been designed & crafted from the ground up with the presentation of live jazz in mind.
To uphold our vision of creating an upscale yet accessible destination with a uniquely metropolitan vibe, BLU Jazz+ caters to its patrons by providing:

- Full-service bar boasting premium liquors, signature cocktails, and inspired wine & beer selections
- State-of-the art stage, sound & lighting

- Audience access for all ages 18+ (under 18 must be accompanied by adult)
BLU Jazz+ has a “retro” mid-century modern feel & captures the intimacy of the famous New York City jazz clubs while offering the style and sophistication of a modern venue.
Location & Parking
Conveniently situated in the heart of the Akron Historic Arts District, BLU Jazz+ is Ohio’s award-winning destination for premier live jazz & fine spirits.
Built in the 1870’s and made of local sandstone & brick, the Hermes Building is home to BLU Jazz+ and gives our venue the distinct character and charm that a jazz club deserves.
BLU Jazz+ is open weekly, Thursday through Saturday (6pm- midnight), with live music nightly.
Enter the Club:
- Please use BLU’s front entrance at 45 E. Market Street.
Parking options include:
- Complimentary self-parking at the 11 N. Main Street parking deck
- On-street metered parking (free after 4pm)
- High/Market Parking Deck located at 40 S. High Street (adjacent to the Akron-Summit County Public Library), free after 6PM and on weekends
